Finding your IP address
Your IP address identifies your device on a network. Here is how to find it on Windows using both Command Prompt and PowerShell.
Using Command Prompt (CMD)
Open the Start menu, type cmd, and press Enter. Then run:
ipconfig
Look for the IPv4 Address under your active adapter:
Wireless LAN adapter Wi-Fi:
IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.58
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1

ipconfig /all
Using PowerShell
Open PowerShell and run:
Get-NetIPAddress -AddressFamily IPv4 | Select-Object IPAddress, InterfaceAlias
